Great week. Desu.
Notes/Stories from the Week
- Fukuoka and zone stuff
- This past we headed to Fukuoka to go to the temple, was Missionary leadership conference, was planning for zone training meeting, and was zone training meeting. Way fun! This transfer we are focusing on working with the member of the church more and getting them involved in our missionary work.
Miracle/"Tendy Mercy" for the Week
It's a small one, but last night we had a lesson with a man named Katsumi San. He is in his 40s and has a pretty good life. Married with a stable job, but senses there is still something missing in his life. This was our second lesson with him and we brought two of the younger people in our ward (both return missionaries). As we explained to him the basics truth of God is our loving Heavenly Father and life can make sense when we understand His plan for us, his eyes lit up and he agreed to meet at least once a week from here on out. Small miracle, but that is the beauty of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Video and Invitation for the Week
As I was scrolling through our church website to find a good video to send, I found this link. I think all of us know a family or an individual who's life has been almost destroyed because of this satanic drug called "pornography." Although sadly it has become main stream and used probably more than Facebook, absolutely nothing good comes from it. Thanks to modern technology, kids are being exposed to it at a younger and younger age. The sad truth is that whether you talk to your kids or not about it, they will be exposed to it. It is up to you if you want them to be prepared or not.
Whether a Christian or not, please visit this link and look around for ways to help protect yourself, your friends, and your families from it. If you have a problem with it, please search for ways to get help. Christian or not, you can overcome it!
